Isabella Piña: Women Who Mean Business 2026
By Rick Pina, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Revenue Officer, Inspired Solutions

Celebrating Isabella Piña at Washington Business Journal's Women Who Mean Business event on October 8, 2026.
Washington Business Journal has named my wife and our CEO, Isabella Piña, a 2026 Women Who Mean Business honoree. On October 8, we celebrated her recognition in Washington, DC.
I am proud of Isabella. Sharing a life with her and building Inspired Solutions alongside her makes this recognition personal to me. Our team has a chance to celebrate the woman who founded our company and the purpose behind her leadership.
A life of service behind the recognition

Isabella's journey began in Dominica and includes 21 years of service in the U.S. Army. Her work in logistics, nursing, and leadership came before she founded Inspired Solutions in 2015.
Her Washington Business Journal profile shares where her working life began. Her first job was carrying green bananas to the port for $1 per bunch. That is part of the journey we are celebrating.

Service connects those parts of her life. Today, our customers, team members, and partners depend on the decisions we make as business leaders.
That responsibility matters to us. We have to understand what people need, tell them the truth about what we can do, and follow through.

Isabella's 2026 Women Who Mean Business award.
"Lead with grace. Serve with purpose!"
Isabella's Washington Business Journal profile includes her personal motto: "Lead with grace, serve with purpose!"
At Inspired Solutions, we want to invest in people, solve critical challenges, and give back. Our mission and values give us a standard for our decisions.
Customers need someone who understands their requirement. Team members need preparation, clear expectations, and room to grow. Partners need honest communication and commitments they can trust. We have to carry our purpose into each of those relationships.
I recently wrote about the purpose behind Isabella's leadership. Our faith informs that purpose. We want our customers, partners, and team members to experience that care in the way we work.
Celebrating women in business
We spent the evening with the other honorees and people who came to celebrate them. Here are some of the moments we shared.

Together at the Women Who Mean Business celebration.
Congratulations to the entire 2026 Women Who Mean Business class. We appreciate the opportunity to celebrate alongside you.

Isabella and I want the business we build to serve people and support the giving that matters to our family. Inspired Solutions' philanthropy is part of that commitment.
