Career Communications Group captured something I love about my wife, Isabella Pina. Purpose drives her life, and it drives Inspired Solutions.

Their feature, "The Power of Purpose," appears in the 2026 AI NEXTGEN conference magazine. I am proud to see Isabella recognized. I also appreciate that the article helps readers understand why she does what she does.

Thank you to Career Communications Group. You captured the essence of my wife and what we believe at Inspired Solutions. I really appreciate it.

Read "The Power of Purpose" on pages 16 to 18 of the 2026 AI NEXTGEN conference magazine. The image above shows the opening spread on pages 16 and 17.

Isabella Pina brings a life of service to business leadership

The article follows Isabella's journey from growing up in poverty in Dominica, through immigrating to the United States at 20 years old, to Army service, nursing, and technology entrepreneurship. It recognizes her as the 2026 AI NEXTGEN Technologist of the Year. Throughout the story, you see her commitment to serving people.

That is what resonated with me. Readers will see the uniform, the profession, the company, and the recognition. I see my wife. I appreciate the purpose that connects those parts of her life.

Isabella founded Inspired Solutions, and her convictions shape how we lead it. Accountability. Service. Integrity. Helping people develop the confidence to lead. These values give us something to measure our decisions against.

I am grateful when someone takes the time to understand that part of her story. Knowing what a person has accomplished matters. Understanding why they do the work helps you appreciate them even more.

Purpose shapes how we lead Inspired Solutions

Isabella and I believe we are driven by purpose, not by need or greed. Our faith informs that conviction. We carry it into the way we lead.
We believe you can be called to business just as you can be called to ministry. We believe God has called us to both. Leading Inspired Solutions is part of that calling.

Through Rick and Isabella Piña Ministries, our nonprofit, we share God's love through teaching and missions, with a special emphasis on the Caribbean. That work is personal to us. So is the responsibility we carry in business.

Ministry in the marketplace is much needed. We live our faith through how we treat people, handle challenges, and keep our word. We want our customers, partners, and team members to experience that care in the way we work.

We have a business to run. We have to manage resources, serve customers, and make responsible financial decisions. Our team members depend on the work we do. Our customers depend on the commitments we make. We take that seriously.

For me, purpose brings those decisions back to people. Who depends on this work? What does our decision mean for them?

That includes the customer working against a deadline. It includes the team member taking on a new responsibility. We have to consider what they need from us and follow through.

I want our customers to trust us with important work. I want our team members to grow. I want the business we build to support the service and giving that matter to our family.

We have to carry those commitments into the ordinary work of leading a company. The article gives people a chance to learn about our purpose. Our decisions have to show it.

Federal IT services carry a responsibility to people

Customers experience our purpose through our work. A federal agency needs technology that supports its mission. A partner needs clear communication. A new team member needs the preparation to do the job well.

Our work spans information technology (IT) products and services, workforce development, inventory management, and logistics. Each area gives us a practical way to serve.

In IT procurement, we have to understand the requirement and be clear about what we can deliver. In logistics, we have to understand how equipment and materials affect someone else's schedule. In workforce development, we help people prepare for the responsibilities ahead of them.

Those details matter. Accurate information matters. An honest conversation about a problem matters. Following through matters.

That is how I think about purpose in business. It raises the standard for the work, especially when an assignment becomes difficult.

We have to earn trust through what we do. Every person on our team contributes to that, and Isabella and I carry that responsibility as leaders.
