Ready for the Responsibility: Inspired Solutions Holds Final CMMC Level 2 (Self) Status

Federal missions do not run on cybersecurity promises. They run on disciplined execution. That is why this milestone matters.

On July 31, 2026, Inspired Solutions completed and affirmed its Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Level 2 self-assessment. The company now holds Final CMMC Level 2 (Self) status for a defined Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) assessment scope.

For agencies, prime contractors, original equipment manufacturers, and teaming partners, that status provides a clear readiness signal.

Inspired Solutions defined the protected boundary, assessed the practices within it, and documented the work. A senior leader affirmed the result in the Supplier Performance Risk System.

This was a self-assessment. It was NOT an assessment conducted by a Certified Third-Party Assessment Organization (C3PAO).

Inspired Solutions announces Final CMMC Level 2 (Self) status for a defined CUI assessment scope, completed July 31, 2026.

Why Final CMMC Level 2 (Self) Matters to Federal Buyers

Federal technology programs depend on companies that protect sensitive information before, during, and after contract performance.

That responsibility begins before contract performance. It starts during capture, teaming, solution development, and contract review.

Before information moves, every organization on the team should know what it may receive and where that information belongs. Each organization should know which systems are authorized to handle it and who remains accountable for protection.

Final CMMC Level 2 (Self) status gives customers and partners a more precise starting point for those conversations. Federal buyers receive a current status they can evaluate against the requirement in a solicitation or contract. Primes gain earlier clarity when assessing potential teammates. Technology partners gain a stronger basis for planning secure collaboration.

The scope is deliberate. Inspired Solutions' status applies to the defined CUI assessment boundary. It is not a blanket claim across every device, employee, application, or business activity.

That precision matters. Federal customers deserve an accurate representation, not an inflated credential.

Security Built Into Federal IT Delivery

CMMC readiness does not come from buying one tool or drafting one policy. An organization must define responsibility, implement safeguards, and ensure written procedures match daily operations. It must preserve evidence, manage change, and accept accountability for the result.

Inspired Solutions completed that work for its defined CUI assessment scope. The milestone connects the language used in proposals and teaming conversations with the discipline required in operation.

Accountability, integrity, and risk management are part of the Inspired Solutions ASPIRE values. CUI protection puts those values into practice. It requires clear ownership, careful handling, accurate representations, and continued maintenance after the announcement.

That discipline supports our broader federal technology services platform. We deliver federal IT products and value-added reseller services, professional services, cybersecurity, infrastructure, supply chain operations, training, and mission support.

Security is not separate from delivery. It is part of the delivery responsibility. Not a badge. An operating commitment.

How the Status Strengthens Teaming

Strong federal teams resolve security responsibilities before work begins. This milestone gives each member of the acquisition community a clearer starting point.

  • Federal customers and contracting teams receive exact status language, a defined scope, and a direct explanation of what Inspired Solutions has completed.

  • Prime contractors gain a teammate that understands the importance of accurate representations and contract-specific requirements.

  • OEMs and distributors gain a federal technology partner that treats information protection as part of solution planning and delivery.

  • Teaming partners gain a stronger foundation for discussing CUI handling, roles, boundaries, and secure collaboration during pursuit development.

Inspired Solutions will evaluate every opportunity against its stated assessment requirement. Future solicitations may require a C3PAO assessment, a government-led assessment, or another status. Inspired Solutions will claim eligibility only after meeting that requirement.

The Rollout Calendar Changed. The Responsibility Did Not.

On July 13, 2026, the Department of War suspended Phase II of the CMMC rollout. Current Department CMMC guidance confirms that Phase I self-assessment requirements remain in place. The duty to protect CUI continues.

Deltek summarized the distinction in Suspended, Not Eliminated. The program timeline changed. The sensitivity of the information did not.

Inspired Solutions did not treat the pause as a reason to wait. Federal customers still need responsible contractors. Primes still need dependable teammates. Sensitive information still requires disciplined protection.

Completion Was the Milestone. Maintenance Is the Commitment.

Inspired Solutions completed and affirmed the assessment on July 31, 2026. The responsibility to maintain the assessed safeguards began the same day.

The company will preserve supporting evidence, manage material changes, maintain the defined assessment boundary, and complete each required annual affirmation. That continuing discipline matters more than the announcement itself.

Federal buyers and prime contractors need partners that protect CUI, state their status accurately, and perform with accountability. Inspired Solutions is ready to bring that discipline to secure federal missions within its assessed scope.
